Summer Landscapes DVD
Now available
David’s latest DVD from APV Films is aimed at showing you how to tackle summer landscapes, including massed foliage, hedgerows bursting with plants and flowers, riotous undergrowth, and of course, how to cope with all those greens.
The film is 90 minutes long and includes hints and tips on colour mixing, searching for subjects in the English countryside, plus a full studio demonstration and a gallery of paintings with commentary.
Here we find David in
his favourite habitat, up in the mountains and moors that are so close
to his heart. The book is for those who enjoy painting these scenes,
whether as a backdrop to a rustic shepherd’s bothy, a picturesque peak
rising above a placid lake, or perhaps recording the savage grandeur of
an alpine ridge.
The book is £9.99 and is due out on 14 September. It contains four stage-by-stage demonstrations and is 80 pages in length.
